Throughout the year, we are blessed by the guidance and learning of our lay leader, Laurie Franklin. Unless our student rabbi (see below) is with us, Laurie leads Friday evening services. She also leads Wednesday evening Talmud study. When needed, she conducts funerals and memorial services, Bar/t Mitzvot, baby namings and other life cycle events. Laurie Franklin Starting next fall (5771/2010)and for the two years after, Laurie will be our lay and only leader as she continues studies to eventually become a rabbi.
