Let’s Celebrate the New Year Together!
Please see the schedule of services below
As the New Year begins, we celebrate together. We walk through an open door to the possibility of a year of shalom, and a year of good living. Most important, it’s up to each of us to understand what a “good year” means.
We don’t wish each other “Happy New Year”; instead we say “to a good year”. What constitutes a “good year”? During the ten days from Rosh Hashanah through Yom Kippur, the Days of Awe, we have a chance to affirm our desire to live a holy life and engage in creating a good year.
Speaking of “good”, what are you bringing to the Rosh Hashanah onegs on Wed evening and Thursday morning? We could use some fresh fruit, cheese, veggies, and baked goods. Please contact Marie Morris at knittrgrl@hotmail.com and be so kind as to let her know what you might bring.
L’Shanah Tovah umetukah! To a good and sweet year!
Hope to see you at services on Wednesday and Thursday!
