Shavuot “Torah on the Trail” and Potluck Picnic at Bonner Park
Bring your Divrei Torah to the Picnic
Once again, we venture up the mountain to receive Torah. Meet at 9:00 am at the Mount Sentinel trail head. We walk the trail and stop to reflect on Torah passages that celebrate each of the Five Books of Moses.
Picnic begins at noon at the Bonner Park picnic shelter, rain or shine. Think cheesecake and blintzes, music and good company! Are you feeling some Torah running in your veins? If so, please bring a 3 or 4 minute D’var Torah, a brief teaching about some Torah that is particularly meaningful to you. We’ll share them at the park after lunch.
Beit Midrash on Hiatus Until July 10
Laurie will be on vacation through the end of June and then attending an intensive study week during the first week of July, so we will resume when she returns. We’ve had a great run since January and look forward to more Jewish learning.
